The movie moves forward to eight medical students on Easter vacation. They stop at a small cabin near Шksfjord. They drink, party, and have sex until a mysterious hiker arrives. He tells them the dark history of the region; during World War II, a platoon of Nazis led by the dreaded Colonel Herzog occupied the area. The Nazis abused and tortured the local people, stealing all their gold. The citizens finally managed to stage an uprising. The surviving Nazis, including Colonel Herzog, were chased into the mountains. It was assumed that the Nazis all froze to death.

Afterwards, the students find an old wooden box filled with gold. Before they can celebrate, they see an army of Nazi zombie soldiers lurching through the snow towards them. The Nazis have come back to life for their gold. The students know their only chance to survive is to fight the zombies and get to their car to escape. The students arm themselves with a chainsaw and other weapons, and fight the zombies.

During the battle, all of the students are killed and eaten by the zombies except one, Martin. Martin finally gives in and leads the zombies to where the gold is buried. However, his girlfriend slipped a piece of gold into his pocket without him knowing. Martin finally arrives to the car, before starting the car he discovers the gold coin. Realizing what it is, Martin is now aware that his life is still in grave danger. Colonel Herzog awaits him outside the car window.

Just woke up to see this awesome release had not been posted yet! Survival of the Dead is the latest zombie film from the legendary zombie film maker George A. Romero. Some of you may know that im a huge die hard fan of anything to do with zombies and anyone that is a fan of anything and everything to do with zombies HAS to know who George A. Romero is, even though judging from the trailer this doesnt look as good as his previous films, i just cant pass up the opportunity to watch one of George A. Romeros zombie flick
